Scuba Review

If it has been a while since your last dive, or if you feel that your skills and knowledge are a little “rusty”, then take this PADI refresher course. Our instructor will review your diving theory and skills, making sure that you haven’t forgotten anything! The one day course includes classroom, shallow confined water training and one open water dive in the bay of Ammoudi.

Why PADI Scuba Review?

Are you a certified diver, but haven't been in the water lately? Are you looking to refresh your dive skills and knowledge? Are you a PADI Scuba Diver or referral student diver and want to earn your PADI Open Water Diver certification? If you answered yes to any of these questions then PADI Scuba Review is for you.

What do I need to start?

Hold a scuba certification or be enrolled in a scuba certification course

Minimum age: 10 years old

What will I do?

First, you'll review the safety information you learned during your initial training. Then, you head to confined water to practice some of the fundamental scuba skills. There's also an optional supervised open water dive.

The Scuba Review program is:

· A great way to brush up on your knowledge and skills after a period of inactivity

· A good review of important knowledge and skills prior to taking any PADI
continuing education course.

· For PADI Open Water Diver course referral students who want a refresher prior to making their open water training dives.

· For PADI Scuba Divers who want to upgrade to Open Water Diver.

· A review of important knowledge and skills for the Junior Open Water Diver seeking to upgrade to Open Water Diver

The Confined Water Skills Session consists of a two to three hour pool skill review, including equipment setup and disassembly, all basic skills from the PADI Open Water Diver course including:

1. Deep Water Entries

2. Buoyancy checks

3. Regulator/Snorkel exchanges

4. Proper descents

5. Regulator recovery and clearing

6. Mask removal and replacement

7. Air depletion exercises

8. Free-flow regulator breathing

9. Neutral buoyancy fin pivots

10. Proper Ascents

11. Removal and replacement of weights

12. Controlled emergency swimming ascents

13. Neutral buoyancy-hovering

14. Underwater swim without a mask

15. Remove/replace scuba underwater

16. Alternate air source use

As well there is time for personal questions or skill practice. The diver will be under the direction of a certified and insured member of our professional staff.
